All ages · No height requirements · Unique experience · Wildlife lovers
Six Flags Wild Safari is one of the most extraordinary wildlife attractions in the United States — a 350-acre drive-through and guided safari experience that ranks among the largest outside of Africa. More than 1,200 animals from six continents roam the property, and in 2026 it received its first-ever nomination for Best Safari Park in the USA by USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.
The experience is split into two components: the Safari Off-Road Adventure — a 35-minute guided tour aboard open-air vehicles through the animal habitats, included with Great Adventure park admission — and the Wild Safari Base Camp, a walkable area near the main entrance with animal encounters, educator presentations, and up-close viewing of reptiles, birds of prey, insects, and mammals. The Base Camp opens April 3, 2026.
For World Cup visitors looking for something far beyond a typical theme park day, Wild Safari delivers an experience no other NJ attraction can match. There are no height requirements, no ride lines, and no rushing — just a genuinely immersive encounter with the natural world, 75 minutes from Atlantic City.
