Six Flags Hurricane Harbor New Jersey is one of the premier water parks in the entire Northeast — a 45-acre tropical island paradise packed with over 20 water slides, multiple pools, and attractions ranging from adrenaline-pumping speed slides to calm lazy river floats. Located directly adjacent to Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, it’s the ideal complement to a theme park day or a great standalone destination on a hot World Cup summer afternoon.
The park opens May 23, 2026, putting it fully operational for the entire World Cup window from June through July. New for 2026, Hurricane Harbor is adding 25 additional water attractions, making this an especially strong season. The separate admission means you can combine it with Great Adventure’s rides or visit independently — the Gold Pass covers all three Six Flags NJ properties.
